A quick guide to fix “Epson printer does not print in color or black ink”

Follow these steps to fix Epson printer not printing:

1 – Set your printer as the default printer:

One of the reasons your Epson printer is not printing in color is that it is not set as the default printer on your desktop.

Follow the steps below to set your Epson printer as the default printer:

First, press the Windows logo key and the “R” key on your keyboard simultaneously.

Type “Control Panel” and press the “Enter” key on your keyboard.

2- Remove/disable use of Epson printer offline function:

To do so, follow these steps:

Now right-click on the printer and make sure the “Use printer offline” box is unchecked (you don’t need to check it). If you select this option, uncheck this box by clicking on it.

3- Check the print spooler service:

If this feature is disabled, your Epson printer will not work properly. So make sure the spooler is enabled by doing the following:

First, open the dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key and “R” at the same time.

Type “services.msc” and press “Enter” on your keyboard.

The Services window is now visible on the screen. Here, double-click the Print Spooler option from the list.

4- Delete all print jobs in the queue: The print queue is a list of print jobs that need to be printed. Then open File Explorer (press the Windows logo key and “E” at the same time).
